La Serena Golf course is situated close to Los Alcázares in Murcia on the coast of the Mar Menor. The course was designed by Manuel Piñero who played in the Ryder Cup team on two occasions. The course is quite flat and not overly long but don´t Jlet that make you think it is easy with the prevailing Levante wind and water hazards that come into play on 16 of the 18 holes, this course will test every level of golfer.
Bunkers are large and extraordinarily designed, but the most remarkable characteristic of this course, aside from the privilege of being able to play by the sea, are the spacious and ample greens.The Club house holds sports and leisure premises, restaurant, bar, games/conference lounge, shop and “putting green” area.
The restaurant La Serena is the ideal place to taste the fantastic gastronomy of the area, Mediterranean cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
