In 1939 the Daily Mail Golf Tournament was held at Queen’s Park and it was a regular on the European tour in the 1970’s.

Queen’s Park Golf Course is in great condition, the best it’s been for years. The fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The greens are in superb condition, fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers.
