Chaparral Golf

Chaparral Golf Club is a 18 hole golf course situated in one of the most privileged settings on the Costa del Sol, close to Fuengirola and less than half an hour from Malaga airport and Marbella.

 It´s the only course on the Costa del Sol with 6 par 5’s, 6 par 4’s and 6 par 3’s and though not excessively long (5,800 meters), you will find a large variety of holes that are enjoyed by players of all levels.

Its success has been assured by the exceptional surroundings, facilities and quality of service. The magnificent sea views (only 700 meters from the beach) together with the rich vegetation and the surrounding lush pine tree forest have turned Chaparral into a natural and golfers´ paradise with a unique scenery from every hole.

The Chaparral Golf Club occupies a privileged part of Mijas Costa with all of its 18 holes having magnificent panoramic views of the coastline. After having been closed for 14 years, it was a long anticipated hat trick opening in February 2006 with the success of Spanish designer Pepe Gancedo, and his previously designed Torrequebrada and Golf del Sur courses.

It is known for its super fast greens, even after rainfall.The Chaparral Golf Course has been host to several important professional and amateur tournaments.

The typically Mediterranean style spacious Clubhouse which sits high on the grounds overlooking the course and the 1st and 18th holes, offers players a comfortable restaurant and lounge to relax in, changing rooms and Pro golf shop.
